In 1991, at the height of the grunge movement, Belgian designer Véronique Leroy burst onto the fashion scene (and won two Andam awards in 1991 and 1994) with a sexy and flashy style inspired by the 70s which prefigured the ""glamorous"" trend. » which will emerge. in the mid-90s (notably with Tom Ford at Gucci). Worn by Yasmine Lebon on the catwalk, this dress is from spring/summer 1994, the collection which earned Véronique Leroy her second Andam prize. Like other models from the collection, she was photographed by Inez Van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin for ""The Face"" in April 1994 (these photos have become the true embodiment of 90s fashion today). The figure-hugging mini dress is quilted with gold thread and has a belt, straps and gold details. Size label 38 FR (M). No fabric labels.
