Daily Paper’s AW23 collection might be inspired by the spoken word, but the Runako puffer jacket proves that symbolism is equally important to the Amsterdam-based streetwear label. Co-founders (and childhood friends) Hussein Suleiman, Jefferson Osei and Abderrahmane Trabsini drew on their African roots to design the signature emblem – a modern reworking of the Maasai shield with two crossed spears. Look closely at this cover-up to spot those very spears shaping the custom quilting. Padded and water-repellent, it’s primed for winters in the Dutch capital and beyond.| Daily Paper woven jacket100% nylon; lining 100% polyesterConcealed popper and zip fastening at frontRelaxed fit, high neck, long sleeves, elasticated cuffs, brand print and two buttoned pockets at front, all over quilted and padded, fully lined, ribbed trims, elasticated hemDry cleanSize medium: length 25in / 63cm, chest 50in / 127cmModel is 6ft 2in/1.88m and wears a size mediumMidweight, slight stretch
